[NEWS] 141015 ‘Road King’ To Start Airing This Weekend Via KBS 2TV

Previously, it was reported that ‘Road King’ will be aired via MBC around early August. However, there were no news whatsoever after that so I was afraid that MBC might cancel the show. Who knows what happened within these 2 months when suddenly there were some news came out today announcing that ‘Road King’ is now will be aired via KBS 2TV channel this weekend instead of MBC!

‘Road King’ is a variety program that gathers 9 celebrities including actor Shin Hyun Joon, actress Han Chae Young, H.O.T’s Jang Woo Hyuk, Muzie, 4Minute’s Sohyun, ZE:A’s Kwanghee & Dongjun, Paran’s Ryan and Yeon Jung Hoon to experience rough off-road adventure besides enjoying camping activity together.

The filming took place in Pocheon, Gyeonggi-do area where all the casts were camping in the wild for 3days 2nights during last July. They had finished all the filming for ‘Road King’ pilot episodes after two sessions of 3days 2nights camping in the mountain area. During the day, all the celebrities were racing through the steep rocky mountain after receiving off-road training from the professional and they were all camping together in the mountain during the night.

KBS also stated that we could watch how Shin Hyun Joon who is known to be a faint-hearted handled the challenge besides getting to see the tough appearance of Han Chae Young and the frustrated look of Yeon Jung Hoon who is a pro-racer himself as well as all the celebrities sleeping habit and their cooking skill! How exciting is that right?

Episode 1 of ‘Road King’ will be aired on 10.30am this Sunday October 19th for 75minutes and the 2nd Episode will be aired the next Sunday October 26th during the same time slot via KBS 2TV channel. Me~ cannot wait for it!

Via his twitter account on July 11th, actor Shin Hyun Joon uploaded a picture of him lying on bed with Yeon Jung Hoon hugging him so closely from beside as if they’re a couple of lovebirds. Both of him & Yeon Jung Hoon posed with their eyes closed in a sleep-like appearance. [NEWS UPDATE] 140702 Yeon Jung Hoon To Start The First Shooting For MBC Variety Show ‘Off-Road’ Today

On July 2nd, an official from the production company of the writer for ‘Off-Road’ stated that Yeon Jung Hoon & the other participants including Han Chae Young & Shin Hyun Joon will start their first shooting  for ‘Off-Road’ today.

Also, according to the spokesperson, the shooting will be conducted at Pocheon, Gyeonggi-do for 3 days & 2 nights. All the participants are also scheduled to have another 3 days & 2 nights shooting for the next weekend too.

To introduce their new variety show, MBC aims to release the pilot program for ‘Off-Road’ first. The 3 parts pilot episodes of the ‘Off-Road’ are set to be aired around the end of this month or early August.

[NEWS] 140701 Yeon Jung Hoon To Participate In MBC New Variety Show ‘Off-Road’

MBC will launch their new variety program ‘Off-Road’ (working title) that will be centered around extreme off-roading sport as its concept. According to MBC representative through a phone call on July 1st, the production team will start shooting this week at the mountain track of Yangju Gyeonggi-do, even though the broadcast schedule for the show has not been decided yet. But most probably, the airing time for the show will be on weekdays late night slot.

The participants for this variety program are actor Shin Hyun Joon, actress Han Chae Young, ex-vocalist of Paran Joo Jong Hyuk, Hwang Kwang Hee of ZE:A, Kwon So Hyun of 4Minute, singer Muzie, Jang Woo Hyuk of H.O.T and of course our Yeon Jung Hoon himself! He & cars are inseparable indeed! In the show, the 8 participants will be divided into a team of two and compete in the thrilling off-road racing games against each other through the unsurfaced tracks and rough routes.
