Yeon Jung Hoon will now be a part of Solite Indigo racing team (founded by Hyundai Sungwoo Automotive) and he will not take part in Ferrari Challenge series this year. On April 1oth, Yeon Jung Hoon along with other racers attended a media day event for ‘2017 CJ Korea Express Super Race Championship’ that was held at Everland Speedway in Yongin, Gyeonggi-do.
Yeon Jung Hoon who’ll be participating under ASA GT1 class for this local championship stated, “It has been a long time since I was last participated in domestic racing tour. I’m really excited and I plan to concentrate solely on domestic race this year. I’ll try my best to give a great performance so please give a lot of interests. ”
Actor Ryu Si Won who is a coach and racer of Team106 was also there for gridwork event but he’ll be participating under Cadilac 6000 class. The opening match for ‘2017 CJ Korea Express Super Race Championship’ will be held on April 16th at Everland Speedway and it will be aired live on XTM channel starting from 2pm local time. The championship consists of 8 matches in total and it will be held at 4 racing arenas including Inje Speedway Gangwon-do, Cheonnam Korea International Circuit and Shanghai International Circuit.
